This print explores the intersection of personal history, symbolism, and familial documentation. Through digital manipulation of a foundational childhood photograph, the work weaves together three defining elements: the tenderness of parental bonds, the spiritual presence of birds as markers of personal transformation, and the envelope as a vessel of preservation. Set against a nostalgic textile pattern drawn from my childhood home, these layered elements create a visual memoir that speaks to both protection and progression, containment and flight. The work transforms these found artifacts in my personal narrative into symbols of my evolving identity.
